Spans the river in a highly industrialized area.  The 310 river bridge spans the river at Destrehan linking it to Luling and westbank industies including the Waterford 3 nuclear generating station. On the eastbank you'll find Ormond subdivision and the Bonne Carre Spillway. The Davis Pond Diversion Project along Lake Catahouche makes the eastern boundary of the westbank portion of this parish.

Well to the west of the city, this parish suffered some wind and rain damage but did not flood..
