The First Year - 2005

Go away, come back, wait, OK come back now. The Chocolate City emerges from the goo and finds bleu roofs to be the New Normal. Katrina Cough and Refrigerator Art dominate the social scene.

By the end of the first year the city is running at about half speed. The heavily damaged areas look like they did the day after the storm, but much of the rest is back to normal. Things are more expensive and they may never be as they were no matter how much we wish.
