Between I10 and US 11 you
can find a bit of geometry that wasn't exactly laid down from
above but the residents all agree it's a slice of heaven. However try as
I might , I just cant find anything like a tennis court anywhere in
this land of boats and golf. You'll just have to go north into the thriving
metropolis of Slidell to whack the yellow balls.
The storm rolled three to five feet of water through most of the homes,
but unlike what happened in New Orleans, the flood water rapidly
receded
after the storm and cleanup is progressing. FEMA may have thown
residents a curve with the new flood plain definitions but these people
have resources and are resiliant. Count on a quick come back.
