It made sense for a while. And then it was a nuisance to bar owners so they changed it by a couple of hours. And now it is just a habit. When will they get rid of the 2am-6am curfew? Jefferson parish lifted theirs weeks ago. Only Orleans remains.

The curfew was lifted December 23rd, 2005. I guess Orleans just couldn't face the prospect of Christmas under curfew.
