At the end of Northline in Old Metairie this club took three feet of flood water ruining the rubico surfaces. Repairs
were quick and the club was one of the first to be functional
after the storm. A few fences remained down and the clubhouse was destroyed but the tennis pavilion was fine.
Old Metairie was destroyed by the storm but lots of money made it possible for this are to come back fast. The main clubhouse can be seen adorned with a bleu roof. It flooded from below and leaked from a ripped off roof. Bulldozers are coming soon, however in the meantime the tennis pavilion is serving the golf playing membership as well.
