Out past the end of Highway 46 and down the Florrisant Highway to Yscloskey at the end of the road you'll find Shell Beach, the access point to the marshes and fishing grounds in the Breton Sound and Lake Borgne. Long regarded one of premiere speckled trout and redfishing location in the area. Numerous charters area available including overnight accomodations (not exactly five star, but you'll be ready to go before first light).

Home of the IsleƱo people who emigrated to eastern St. Bernard Parish from the Canary Islands.
