It has been over a year since the devastation and tribulation of Hurricane Katrina...and the New Orleans Museum of Art welcomes a return to normalcy.
Now open five days a week (Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), we look forward to two exciting exhibitions—!CARNAVAL! (October 21, 2006 through January 21, 2007) and Femme, femme, femme: Paintings of Women in French Society from Daumier to Picasso from the Museums of France (March 3 through June 2, 2007).

We welcome you to your New Orleans Museum of Art to celebrate art and culture... and life!

FREE admission to all Louisiana residents through 2006 is sponsored by the Helis Foundation.

NOMA hosted the King Tut exhibit when it toured the United States in the 1980's.
