The secret proceedings of the Grand Jury have made their way into the press. In June 2007 Charles Foti's murder case against the Dr. Pou and nurses Budo and Landry appears to be in trouble. According to the leaks, Eddie Jordan is planning to offer immunity to the nurses in order to get their testimony against Dr. Pou.

The case is apparently very weak if Jordan is compelled to try this sort of maneuver. Of course with Jordan any case without an eyewitness is very weak, so is he trying to manufacture some? Jordan, Foti and even somebody from the U.S. DHHS (Medicare?) are involved in this prosecution.

No True Bill returned on July 24, 2007. We'll see what happens next. Foti and Jordan may come under additional scrutiny.
