CNN Has Top Two Shows In Prime Demo
CNN's special investigation into the Jena Six case was the number one program in the 25-54 demo last night. The Kyra Phillips-hosted program along with Larry King Live, (with guest Dan Rather) helped give CNN a win in the demo for the night.
The Jena Six program at 8pmET topped FNC's The O'Reilly Factor and MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann who returned to the air last night after having emergency surgery last Friday.
CNN had devoted much of its daytime coverage to the controversial Louisiana case.
As one TVNewser emailer wrote this morning, the "special was the first
time someone in a balanced and understandable and compelling way
explained the Jena 6 case."
>More: The Jena Six coverage helped CNN.com have its biggest day since going free with the live player, with more than 390,000 views.
