January 2008 is month 29 since Katrina. Lawsuits anyone? The Corps of
Engineers has received federal form 95's notifying it that lawsuits
totalling over $3 quadrillion may be filed. Excluding one suit which
may be a typo, there are actually 246 suits totalling $13 trillion or
about equal to 40% of the world's output in a year.
New Year's, the Sugar Bowl, the BCS Championship, and then it's Carnival season. The hospitality industry is booming.
The
LSU Tigers are #1 by virtue of defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes
convincingly by a score of 38-24. The Patriots and the Giants with Eli
Manning prep for the Super Bowl. Alas, it is in Phoenix, AZ this year.
Candidates
debate. Hillary wins; Barack wins; Edwards loses. Huckabee, McCain and
Romney all win. Stocks plummet; gold skyrockets; recession threatens.
Louisiana Republicans can't decide who won, but think it might be
McCain. Super Tuesday is coming soon.
That was fun, rain, rain,
cold, nasty, beautiful...its time for MardiGras. Alla rolled on a
beautiful Sunday afternoon January 27, 2008.
