The Republican nominating party is in town to decide the state's 46 delegates. Voting on the 24th will decide up to 20 of the delegates. Caucuses on April 28 and the state caucus on June 2 will commit the remaining 26. Will it be Mitt, Newt, Ron or Ricky? (Sounds like a 90's boy band.) Polling suggests the state plurality will go to Santorum. Romney needs a boost to avoid a delegate shutout on the 24th. Ron Paul may have his worst showing so far if he really turns out less than 5%. The rules leave the distinct possibility that all but a few of Louisiana's delegates will be uncommitted at the time of the National Convention.
