The 5-0 Saints traveled to Foxboro to meet the 4-1 Patriots in a featured late Sunday afternoon game.
Troy Aikman was again picked to provide the color commentary although he has been no friend of the Saints.
After a Pats FG, the Saints first possession started with an incomplete pass. Aikman almost tripped over himself praising the Patriots defender, "the guy should be all Pro!" Replay after replay showed the corner-back pinning the receiver's left arm to his side. It should have been called pass interference.
Oh well I guess the refs are going to let them play. It is a big game after all. The calls were loose to be sure for both sides. But all afternoon it was as one sided as I have ever seen in the NFL. Ticky tacky holding calls against the Saints followed by one of the worst no calls ever on the game winning touchdown. Sean Payton was apoplectic. Watching the game film will not be fun this week.
Three deep breaths. Forget it and move on. We have a bye coming, time to heal up. Graham is in for an MRI.
