Increasingly obese Americans are caught up in self-destructive lifestyles. Government sponsored nutrition research hasn't found the solution. The pyramid is a joke. Low fat, low calorie doesn't work. There is no fat control pill.  "Eat less, and move more" is a slight improvement.

Increasingly sedentary lifestyles fueled by fast and junk food, consumer electronics, automobiles and air conditioning, and computers at work add to the problem.
